I had mixed feelings about my stay at Riu Yucatan. The beach was stunning and the staff were friendly and tried their best, but the rooms felt outdated and lacked proper privacy in the bathrooms. While the dining options at the buffet were good, I really wished for more variety in the specialty restaurants.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach and close to 5th Avenue, which I really appreciated. The food was delicious and plentiful, but I did gain a couple of pounds during my stay!
